Chris Shannon

when i first saw Chris Shannons work i thought it reminded me of early Kim Jones and then it came to my attention Via Dazed that he worked with Kim Jones arlier on in his career he has also worked with nike, new balance and eastpac and the legandary Judy Blame. He is the newest member of the MAN family.

Man & Colette

So Man is probably the most important thing in London for me right now as i truly believe that it is the only project that takes menswear seriously and seeing the support that it has given previous talents to Casette Playa,Carola Eurler, Kim Jones amongst others. Man is the show i look forward to with feverish anticipation every season and i hope to be a part of it soon. With the new names annouced Hans Christen Madsen & the genius James Long are showing again and Chris Shannon taking the place of Urbanwear blogger/ designer Kesh. The collabration with Colette has resulted in a rather cute selection of t-shirts & bags from the current MAN members and Topman Design.

There are some kool interviews from the curent MAN members at Dazed with also a sneak preview of the designers next collections.

Justin Timberlake for Givenchy's latest menswear perfume i cross my fingers and hope this means that the only way is up for Givenchys menswear as it has been a bit grey since Ozwald Boateng left xox

Nicola is one kool stylist i love his work in Dazed and under his fashion direction it has certaintly changed for the better his work is very inspiring and if iwas to take up styling full time Nicola is someone i would definitely aspire to be like his website shows all the kool work he has done and all the magz he has had worked with. My personal faves of all his work has to be his work for uniqlo of course and the galliano shoot which is truly breath taking.

Topman black trouser project

continuing on with the project where designers are asked to give their interpretation on a classic garment within the menswear wardrobe and i think that this is the best my personal fave are the extremely skinny legged dropped crouch by Aitor Thrope who in my eyes is simply a genius

Super Super loves Niyi

Ive been once before but this time i actually enjoyed myself the music was as the crowd was a mix of everything and music was played to suit the several sub cultures that attended. The live performance from the band Mirror Mirror was refreshing they managed to mix new wave/punk and indie together and performed well enough to keep the wide variety of crowd entertained.
