I'm currently reading Joe Orton's diary's its no secret that play writing is my passion and a career I do hope and pray to embark on nevertheless non fiction writing is probably my favorite these people existed and there in the pages presented before me are their actual feelings and thoughts on the world and how they make sense of certain situations. Fiction is great yet in truth its an idea created by the creator a world within the world much like diaries are the world of those who write them. The people in fiction are ideals made from the head of another and although they mat have traits from real persons alive or dead they are still very much a part of their creator. Books that have shaped my vision haven't been fiction but more along the lines of diaries and interviews

Waugh Father & sons

Waugh- Father & Sons-BBC 4

Such an interesting documentary, my friend Luke & I have been getting into the lives of  'The Young Bright Things' and although Evelyn was one he also wasn't truly he belonged yet seemed also to observe and one can only do so when they're present yet from a distance he chronicled the youths escapades in several of his books taking inspiration from those who burned brightest. This documentary is about a legacy that Evelyn created yet also belonged to the Waugh dynasty have been writers for several generations yet he was among or is the greatest. It's a touching story of how fathers relate to their sons and its nice to see how attitudes have changed from the cold Edwardian/ Victorian era of nannies as the parent to modern day parenting with the father taking control and giving life lessons to his son. It's nice to see men being so affectionate and open with one another and makes for a brilliant & insightful watch especially for one like myself who never did nor never will have a father present

TNP- We want War

If/ when I decide to start making music via my experimental band that my friends and I have decided to launch I've always wanted to create and craft a sound that is different yet accessible something that hasn't been heard before yet isn't to alien or too pretentious, lyrics are what my strong points are as I'm not a producer and nor am I a vocalist. I've always wanted to marry classical music with contemporary and allow for a popular sound, I think Florence does this well not that her music is classical but its her use of instruments like harps not too often heard in the top 40 charts even steel pans via Jamie XX or The XX or Something A LA Mode with their fresh take on using the violin it sounds refreshing and that is what  love about this song

I need to travel all around Europe

Pretty cool reminds me of when Chaylan used to play around with fashion its interesting to think of how clothes should be able to interact with the wearer not just enhance or define their presence

Walter Pfeiffer - The Plaza

A short film by Walter Pfeiffer, I kind of love it the colours, the matching of backgrounds with outfits, his sense of colour, homoerotic, drag queens, camp its all there and in a lo-fi fun not overly done way
