The age of the posh people

Let's be honest those at the bottom have to work 100x harder than those born at the top the 90's was all about grunge, grit and magazines that chronicled this the best known YBA's like the likes of Emin & Hirst were from small towns, The face Kate Moss was from Croydon London yet not quite London and the bands well the bands too weren't those born and raised in a music hall but it seems in this age a new decade at that we've come to a point were posh people are no longer laughed at but once again applauded.

Romeo Beckham & Willow/Jaden Smith, Romeo bagged himself a Burberry contract following in the footsteps of his parents who are courted largely by the fashion press whilst the Smiths collaborate with musicians from the likes of Nicki Minaj & Justin Bieber

Lena Dunham a voice that chronicles the lives of others including herself except the lives of others isn't too far from the lives of those the show captures

Brant Brothers nothing can really be said about the children of privilege who are caught out and around being just that sons of a supermodel (Stephanie Seymour) and a print magnate (Peter Brant) Articles and pictures have circulated the web and they've already had their first Contro surrounding the president

Cara Delevigne the bushy eyed model that this season blew up a British Vogue some high profile ads and being pictured with pop stars Rita Ora, Rihanna or Justin Bieber

What unites all of the above is their social standing these are young individuals who to some degree have been catapulted into mainstream circles due to the circles of their parents and who they know talented and beautiful for some with talent too boot there is starving models, designers, artists out there who's true potential will never be shown or found. Its a sad case of where we're at now and a trend I hope is just that a trend that goes no further than a fleeting one

Supposed Self

Individuals who act as a living who are filmed being themselves and doing the banal activities of everyday life that has been seen on film before but not as themselves as an other exploring the identity of those who explore identities of others that they have to create and embody yet we'll never be able to capture there true self on camera as they are aware of the cameras presence so will never truly act how they would act if the camera wasn't there so we will never truly get to see the individuals true self

True Religion

Love this Dali piece I don't know what he's trying to say but what it says to me is money is the root of religion I mean the catholic church is one of the biggest businesses in the world and property owners, we all pray and wish for success and it seems we chase fame and success more than anything else in this world
Go go curry a small and cute space centrally located just off the busy and bustling times square

Grand slam was our dish of the day tender pork cutlets and chicken slices along with breaded shrimp, boiled egg sausages all served in a curry bursting with mild heat yet a hot sauce on hand too turn up the hotness, the rice was rightly done not too soft and not too hard giving the dish a base and grounding for 12:50 this was a bargain east with no comprise on taste or texture a multi layered dish well

I don't know many places in London that serve Japanese curry with Indian overtaking the curry scene the main difference here is the intensity in heat, portions are large and prices are little making Go Go Curry is a cute little place and somewhere to stop off when visiting NYC or Japan
