This is a beautiful book that has kept me entertained, it documuments the rise of Karl Lagerfeld and Yves Saint Laurent and the rise and fall of their friendship. There is bitchyness and cattyness in it as Fashion is usually portrayed. In so many ways i have connected with the book.

I love the majority of it but iam sure to get the Carolyn Massey Cape, ive always wanted a cape since well forever i loved the old hermes ad with stella tennant in a cape blowing in the wind walking with a stick in her hand, Chloes capes a few seasons back and Louis Vuitton two seasons ago.

I love his work prior to yesterdays browesing on a shaded view on fashioni had heard nothing about him, i saw Eric Lebon's work and fell in love. His asethetic is a mix between formal & highend sportswear he uses fabrics that are different and his clothes all seem wearable. Its a shame he has been around for four seasons and i have heard nothing about him its reall quite sad as he is a talented man and deserves acknowledgement.
My fave is pic three the bergundy cropped pannelled mid length sleeved hooded tops

When i found out Miu Miu Menswear would be no more i was equally upset menswear has suffred to many blows in recent years (Rykiel Homme, Kim Jones, Helmut Lang, Hedi Slimane) so naturally it was fate when i found these beatiful hand made boots in a vintage shop that where just my size and brand new not even a scuff on the sole they are a hybrid between boxing boots and brogues with the normal fly tip brogue detailing on the front of the shoe, a classic on the edgy design from the amazing mind of Ms.Prada and her team.

Iam going to miss Kim Jones for both is line for Umbro and his mainline i was looking forward to the launch of KJ by Kim Jones which was going to be his more youthful affordable line launched at MAN two seasons ago before he got Dunhill which i look forward to see his first collection although i know its the epitome of mens luxury and prices that i simply cant afford on a normal day these are some of his designs that i love his siganature was simple sporty menswear with an added edge.

I finally have it, I have never waited for a publication with feverish anticipation, I cant say much about except it is an iconic issue and i love all the pictures but sadly i cant read Italian and only wish they did an english edition or put english at the back like they do with L'uomo Vogue.

If there is one i would say it is looking at the world in a different light as everyone else and understanding the small details that people simply ignore. I know how it feels to stand out from the crowd and to be laughed at for looking different as all this is nothing new to me. I began Jaiden rVa James with Rasharn when i found out that we both had the same deep burning passion for fashion and instead of talking about it, we decided to put are money where are mouths where and launched the label. It of course was a learning curve as neither of us really knew the process of making a collection. The collection was well recieved by the press and gained the attention of several important people. In the 6 months of the birth of the first collection i have grown dramitcally i have become more intouch with everything from arts to fashion and gained a further understanding of the world around me and how different each creatives vison of thw world is, Iam in love with Warhol & Haring as they both had a vision so powerful and so unappricated at their time. When i launched the label i was still studying uncertain about what i really wanted just that i loved fashion and i loved mens fashion but on completing the course i learned that like everything else education is a load of bullshit that guarantees nothing and all of the colleges with their names and over hyped up almuni is also bullshit it is not about where you study but simply about the individual and how talented you are already. After graduating i learned that education is nothing but a couple of words on a piece of paper and the best teacher you can have is simply life itself.

What makes them different to any other Fred Perry/ Skinny Jeans wearing Indie band well …..When Kids from Peckham get together and make a sound the result is a fusion of punk, rock and indie, tracks with lyrics full of the shenanigans that the youths of the day get up to The Metros are a cool English band that first caught my eye in a small write up about them in London Lite & in Super Super, then again in last months GQ. Take a listen for yourself and see what you think of them
